Hours: 7:30 PM - 6:00 AM, Monday - Thursday
Purpose Statement
The Sanitation Specialist plays a critical role in controlling environmental and equipment cleaning to ensure the safety and quality of our food products. Key Responsibilities and Results
Disassemble and set up production equipment, thoroughly cleaning all equipment using COP and CIP systems; verify proper cleaning and configuration before operational readiness. Maintain and document records for CIP Chart Recorders and useful information on charts and CIP logs. Conduct inventory checks of sanitation supplies; utilize bioluminescence technology to validate CIP systems. Carry out tasks in accordance with the plant Master Cleaning Schedule. Troubleshoot basic sanitation equipment issues to ensure optimal performance. Train new associates on essential skills related to Environmental Operations. Maintain a safe and organized work area, adhering to GMP and Safety guidelines. Operate Rich's SCADA system and complete relevant paperwork. Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Lead person. Participate in training across other areas of the plant as required by the Skillblock program, which may include the Valve and Pump PM program. Qualifications and Skills
High school diploma or GED. Minimum one year of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in training peers in Sanitation/Environmental operations. Ability to work effectively within a Self-Directed work team. Proficiency in Rich's SCADA system. Able to follow Associate Safety guidelines and demonstrate awareness of GMP and Food Safety standards. Understanding of proper machine operation and adjustment procedures. Capability to actively participate in Production Improvement, Associate Involvement, and Temporary Teams, as required. Compensation The compensation range for this role is based on state law and is a reasonable estimate by Rich Products Corporation. The specific amount may vary based on experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differentials, and location. Annual Range/Hourly Rate:
