Pay Information $2,054 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of Med Surg experience required License: State License - Michigan Certifications: BLS (AHA) required Must-Have: Epic experience preferred Description: The registered nurse will perform direct patient care and delegation to patient care technicians in providing care and comfort to the residents. Knowledge and compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines relating to facility care will be maintained. This position requires basic medical/surgical knowledge to care for general surgical and orthopedic surgical patients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Regularly assess patient's needs and provide skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician-authorized plan of care and accepted standards of nursing practice. Provide direct resident care, including medication administration, treatments, assisting with transfers, and responding to alarms. Evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment plan and participate in updating or revising the treatment plan in collaboration with other team members. Process physician orders and perform physician-ordered care accurately and in a timely manner.
