Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager with 7–12 years of GC experience to join the team in Rhode Island. The ideal candidate has a background in public works or K–12 educational projects and can oversee all aspects of project delivery, from preconstruction through close-out. This role is best suited for a motivated PM who can manage multiple stakeholders, maintain budgets and schedules, and represent the company in front of municipal and community clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from preconstruction through close-out, ensuring budget, schedule, and quality goals are met
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, owners, and municipal stakeholders
- Lead subcontractor buyout, contract negotiations, and procurement
- Oversee project schedules, cost tracking, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with public works requirements, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines
- Conduct regular meetings with clients, design teams, and field staff to maintain alignment
- Foster strong relationships with clients, communities, and internal project teams
Qualifications
- 7–12 years of experience as a Project Manager with a General Contractor
- Proven background in public works, schools, or municipal construction
- Strong knowledge of contracts, scheduling, and construction financials
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Candidates must be located in or willing to commute to Rhode Island
