Known for their strong reputation in underground utilities, site development, and public works, this firm prides itself on safety, quality, and building long-term relationships with clients and communities.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee and coordinate multiple construction projects simultaneously. This individual will take ownership of the planning, direction, and management of day-to-day operations—working closely with superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders from project initiation through completion.
The ideal candidate is a proven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a successful track record managing large-scale heavy civil or utility projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the buyout process, including subcontractor negotiations and purchase orders.
- Manage permits, approvals, and construction schedules.
- Oversee monthly billing statements and progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
- Collaborate with engineers and subcontractors to maintain design intent and hit project milestones.
- Provide progress updates to stakeholders and internal teams.
- Supervise subcontractors and vendors to maintain schedules and quality.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all construction-related activities.
- Monitor budgets and schedules, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
Qualifications:
- 7–10+ years of progressive construction management experience, with leadership across multiple projects.
- Strong understanding of construction documents, scheduling, and budget management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- OSHA certification preferred.
