A well-established heavy civil contractor with decades of experience delivering complex utility and infrastructure projects across the region is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their growing team. Known for their strong reputation in underground utilities, site development, and public works, this firm prides itself on safety, quality, and building long-term relationships with clients and communities.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee and coordinate multiple construction projects simultaneously. This individual will take ownership of the planning, direction, and management of day-to-day operations—working closely with superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders from project initiation through completion.

The ideal candidate is a proven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a successful track record managing large-scale heavy civil or utility projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the buyout process, including subcontractor negotiations and purchase orders.
• Manage permits, approvals, and construction schedules.
• Oversee monthly billing statements and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Collaborate with engineers and subcontractors to maintain design intent and hit project milestones.
• Provide progress updates to stakeholders and internal teams.
• Supervise subcontractors and vendors to maintain schedules and quality.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all construction-related activities.
• Monitor budgets and schedules, proactively identifying and resolving issues.

Qualifications:

• 7–10+ years of progressive construction management experience, with leadership across multiple projects.
• Strong understanding of construction documents, scheduling, and budget management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• OSHA certification preferred.
