Position Summary:

As an Assistant Project Manager at Renova One, you will support project managers in coordinating and overseeing a variety of renovation, turnkey, and restoration projects. This role is very hands-on and will require you to manage trades, oversee light renovation work, and occasionally step in to complete tasks yourself when needed. You’ll help ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and at the highest quality, while also assisting with punch-out work and project closeouts.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Source and coordinate trades including paint, cleaning, renovation, and restoration partners
  • Assist in managing turnkey services and restoration/mitigation projects
  • Oversee light renovation work (paint, drywall, minor repairs)
  • Perform punch-out work and ensure quality standards are met before project completion
  • Support project managers with scheduling, resource coordination, and subcontractor management
  • Step in as a “doer” when needed—helping on-site with basic tasks to keep projects moving forward
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards
  • Communicate effectively with clients, trades, and internal teams to keep projects on track

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in construction, renovation, or project coordination (multi-family industry experience preferred)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to oversee and occasionally perform light construction tasks (painting, drywall, etc.)
  • Comfortable managing subcontractors and building strong trade relationships
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on, proactive approach with willingness to jump in where needed
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or construction management software a plus
