Amazon Business Flywheel Input (ABFI) Analytics team is looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Engineer to help us make history. Amazon Business (AB) represents an incredible opportunity to address a vast new market segment and customer base for Amazon. We are focused on building solutions that enable B2B customers to find and buy products and services across multiple devices and marketplaces.
The Analytics team owns data driven decision making for key AB problems including price setting, selection additions, and operations optimization. Amazon Business is a fast-growing business sector. We need leaders who can think big and drive big vision into a reality.
Key Responsibilities
Build the analytics and the supporting structures needed to analyze, dive deep, and innovate the pricing strategies. Leverage the latest analytics and AI-powered tools to transform complex data into actionable business insights. Work closely with the Product/Program Managers, Data Engineers, Scientists, and Software Development Engineers to develop dynamic dashboards and define new metrics that drive strategic analyses. Extract, manipulate, and summarize large sets in analysis through business intelligence and reporting tools. Learn different aspects of business and understand how to build or apply analytics tools to solve high impact business problems. Requirements
5+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
