Apex Systems is currently hiring for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with deep backend expertise and a passion for enabling AI-driven development. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on coding environment, can partner with architects, and is excited to work with cutting-edge tools like GitHub Copilot Pro+. Responsibilities will include developing and maintaining scalable backend services using .NET and C#, leveraging AI code generation tools to accelerate development, collaborating with architects and cross-functional teams, and working with Cosmos DB and other data-centric technologies to build robust, performant systems. Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills: 6–8+ years of professional software engineering experience Strong proficiency in backend development with .NET and C# Experience with GitHub Copilot Pro+ or similar AI-assisted coding tools Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure - Azure or AWS Experience with Cosmos DB or similar NoSQL databases Ability to work independently and produce high-quality code Strong problem-solving skills and a “solver/enabler” mindset The ideal candidate will also have: Exposure to AI/ML workflows or interest in AI-driven development Experience in high-scale, distributed systems Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Location: New Orleans, LA - 100% remote Pay range: $160,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
