Capital Basel Policy Review, Assistant Vice President at State Street. Join to apply for this role within Global Treasury Risk Management (GTRM) and the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Financial Risk Department. What You Will Be Responsible For

Execution of capital rule interpretations in a timely manner Liaise and maintain effective communication with Basel Policy and Regulatory Capital, Business, Finance and Risk to ensure a clear understanding of US Basel Rule requirements and governance processes Assess the application of US Basel Rules and calculation of RWA Proactive communication to senior management of any concerns and/or emerging risks Identify deficiencies in capital rule interpretations, treatment, accuracy/timeliness, and governance, which could lead to incorrect RWA or Leverage Exposure calculations Evaluate action plans to remediate deficiencies identified during the Capital Basel Policy Review and track remediation Communicate the outcome of the independent review to senior management and the Basel Oversight Committee What We Value

Understanding and familiarity with US Basel Rules Experience in deconstructing complex transactions and understanding the underlying risks Excellent analytical skills with the ability to develop a thesis and communicate findings clearly Bank regulatory experience and close liaison with banking regulators is advantageous Strong interpersonal, relationship-building and communication skills Ability to gain trust and respect of business partners Strong work ethic and highly organized to manage multiple deliverables Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Education & Preferred Qualifications

4+ years of relevant experience in Treasury, Finance or Risk Understanding of financial instruments across a wide range of businesses Understanding of bank balance sheet and income statement Bachelor's degree required; Master in Finance, Economics, or STEM subjects a plus About State Street

$110,000 - $170,000 Annual Note: The range applies to the role in the primary location. If the candidate works outside the primary location, the range may differ.
