The Security Engineer on the Risk Advisory team within Cybersecurity, Governance, Risk, Attack Surface and Compliance (GRAC) is responsible for leading security risk management and cybersecurity engineering projects at an organizational level. This position requires expertise in risk management analysis and security engineering to help protect organizational assets, maintain regulatory compliance, and support secure operations across platforms and services. Key responsibilities include conducting thorough risk assessments and third-party product evaluations to identify vulnerabilities and assess the impact of various risks in order to evaluate the organization's risk profile in alignment with organizational policies, controls, business objectives and relevant regulatory and compliance requirements. This role also manages and monitors risk exceptions and issues, and works with other teams to define mitigation strategies aimed at reducing Providence’s overall risk exposure. Serving as a thought leader in emerging processes and technologies, this role helps develop, automate, and identify standards and best practices and promotes their implementation within Information Services, while championing the Cyber Risk Advisory roadmap and vision.
