Responsibilities System engineering expertise: develop and maintain system architectures, requirements documents, interface control documents (ICDs), and other technical documentation. System of Systems (SoS) Engineering: integrate heterogeneous systems and manage interdependencies. Risk Management utilizing qualitative and quantitative risk analysis techniques. Space Systems Knowledge: space systems architecture, including spacecraft, launch vehicles, ground systems, and communication networks. Modeling & Simulation: system analysis and performance evaluation. Develop and use models to assess system behavior and identify potential risks. Minimum Qualifications Must be a US Citizen, current/active TS/SCI clearance, and willing and able to obtain a CI Polygraph. Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Aerospace, Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) is required. 5-7 years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on complex systems, preferably within the space industry. Experience with System of Systems (SoS) engineering principles is highly desirable. Demonstrated experience in risk management processes and techniques is essential. Must be able to work on-site in El Segundo, CA. Experience with systems engineering methodologies (e.g., Agile, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)). Experience in integrating heterogeneous systems and managing interdependencies. Knowledge of relevant industry standards (e.g., NASA, MIL-STD, ISO). Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, WarpCore). Desired Qualifications Master's degree in Aerospace, Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field. The base pay for this position within California, Colorado, Hawaii, New Jersey, the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area, and all other states is $113,000.00 - $189,000.00.
