November 2025 At the Don Moyer Boys and Girls Club (DMBGC), we believe in teamwork and collaboration to create meaningful change in the lives of youth and families we serve. We are seeking a Director of Family Engagement to oversee family-related programs and grant-funded initiatives, including programs funded by ICJIA, CCMHB, City of Champaign Blueprint, and other grants. Position Summary

In this role, you will oversee grant compliance, reporting, and program evaluation for family-related programs. A significant portion of responsibilities will focus on the Raising Resilient Children Parent/Caregiver Academy and the CU Change program, with additional duties for current and future grants. You will work with the COO and collaborate with program staff, funders, and community partners to ensure alignment with DMBGC’s mission. Key Responsibilities

Grant Compliance and Oversight

Ensure compliance with grant guidelines, deliverables, and timelines for family-related programs (e.g., CU Change, Raising Resilient Children, City of Champaign Blueprint, and other current/future grants). Collaborate with funders (CCMHB, ICJIA, City of Champaign, and others) to address compliance requirements and goals. Oversee evaluation components in consultation with external evaluators (e.g., University of Illinois Evaluation Team). Maintain open communication with funders and stakeholders; address compliance/programmatic issues with the COO. Oversee additional grant-funded programs as assigned.

Reporting and Evaluation

Take full responsibility for grant reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual) under the COO, meeting funder expectations. Collect, analyze, and report data to document outcomes across assigned grants; provide detailed program performance reports. Collaborate with evaluation teams to implement all evaluation components.

Budgeting and Financial Management

Oversee program budgets to ensure funds comply with grant guidelines. Monitor expenditures and prepare financial reports for funders (monthly or as required). Approve budget amendments with COO approval and maintain proper documentation.

Supervision and Support

Supervise staff for the CU Change program and related roles, providing guidance and oversight. Support staff in achieving milestones and addressing challenges; assist with staff training and development.

Program Planning and Execution

Oversee planning and execution of family-related program activities, including workshops and outreach. Ensure activities align with grant guidelines and DMBGC’s mission.

Data Management and Documentation

Maintain records of program activities, financial transactions, and participant data in compliance with grant requirements. Ensure confidentiality and use DMBGC My Club Hub Software for data storage and reporting.

Stakeholder Engagement

Collaborate with community partners, schools, and stakeholders to enhance program visibility and participation. Work with the COO and Marketing to ensure effective outreach; represent DMBGC at events and funder meetings as directed.

Qualifications and Skills

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in social work, education, public administration, or related field (Master’s preferred). Proven experience managing grant-funded projects, including compliance, budgeting, and reporting. Strong project and budget management capabilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with team members and stakeholders. Data analysis and reporting expertise to assess program performance and outcomes. Commitment to DMBGC’s mission of enabling youth to reach their full potential. Preferred Skills

Familiarity with trauma-informed care and restorative justice practices. Experience with program evaluation and outcomes tracking. Proficiency with DMBGC My Club Hub or similar systems; strong technology skills (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
