The SAP PI/PO Middleware Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, monitoring, and support of the SAP PI/PO Middleware landscape. This role plays a critical part in the enabling seamless integration between SAP and non-SAP systems through the design, deployment, and maintenance of integration scenarios and interfaces. Key responsibilities:
Installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP PI/PO systems including adapters, integration engine, and communication channels. Monitor and troubleshoot PI/PO interfaces, message flows, and system performance issues and also manage interface deployments, configure integration points, and test end to end interfaces. Analyze functional business applications and design specifications for functional areas such as finance, accounting, personnel, manpower, logistics, and contracts. Develop block diagrams and logic flow charts. Translate detailed design into computer software. Test, debug, and refine the computer software to produce the required product. Prepare required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation. Enhance software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency. Provide technical direction to programmers to ensure program deadlines are met. Experience in information system design, including application programming on large-scale DBMS and the development of complex software to satisfy design objectives. Here's what you need:
2 years of SAP PI experience Experience in PI design, code development, configuration, peer reviews and system related activities Experience in interface mappings and system monitoring Java modules, Oracle and ABAP development experience EDI X12 experience Experience in troubleshooting PI issues and improving the system performance Adapter and protocol knowledge for Unix and Web Services Operating System and database knowledge SAP Security+ Certification required Nice to have:
