About the Job: General Dentist for Edna, TX
Blue Jay Dental has a client with a need for a general dentist to start immediately in Edna, TX. Seeking an associate or locum dentist to work Monday-Friday at our busy office. This is a full-time position. Our state-of-the-art office features digital x-ray and new equipment, and we primarily serve adult patients. The successful candidate will provide excellent dental care, including diagnosis, treatment, and patient management. Responsibilities include: Providing diagnosis of patient's dental status utilizing accepted clinical and radiological techniques. Assessing patient's dental status and arranging for appropriate consultations to determine treatment needed. Providing comprehensive professional dental treatment to address the oral health needs of patients. Providing routine recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, and fluoride treatments. Referring to dental specialists when appropriate. Managing administrative functions of the dental office. Supervising the work of dental hygienists and dental assistants. Requirements for the position include: DMD or DDS from an accredited dental school.
