Registered Nurse Job Details Location: San Francisco, CA 94131 Assignment Type: Locum tenens (Travel nursing contract) Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Lab Start Date: November 11, 2025 End Date: February 10, 2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 - 17:30) Hours per Week: 40 Estimated Weekly Salary: $2450 - $2620 Cath Lab RN Qualifications Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab At least 3 years of overall RN experience Prior travel nursing experience within the past 12 months COVID-19 vaccination and booster required (medical/religious exemptions considered) Ability to float to other healthcare facilities within a 75+ mile radius as needed Experience with electronic charting systems (any system) RCIS/RCES certification preferred Recent experience in Cardiac Cath, Electrophysiology (EP), or Holding Room preferred Prior teaching hospital experience preferred Registered Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, performing diagnostic and interventional procedures Collaborate with healthcare professionals in all areas of the department (Cath Lab, EP Lab, Procedure Room, Holding Area) Monitor and administer procedural sedation; interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias Perform left and right heart catheterizations, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring Float to other departments or affiliated healthcare facilities as required Complete required orientation and annual training modules Experience the excitement of San Francisco healthcare jobs while making a difference in cardiac patient care.
