A graduate of an APTA-accredited school of physical therapy Computer Skills
Computer literate and proficient in clinical documentation Basic Internet navigation skills Certificates And Licenses
Valid physical therapist state license Responsibilities
Provide physical therapy and related services for patients while maintaining professional interaction with facilities and clients in accordance with physical therapy guidelines. Screen and evaluate patients, develop initial and ongoing plans of care, discharge planning, supervise assistants and Rehab Techs, and manage cases. Maintain professional conduct aligned with Reliant Rehabilitation’s quality and service commitments. Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding physical therapy. Optimize patient functionality by providing, directing, and overseeing physical therapy. Provide consultation and clinical supervision to PTAs. Directly supervise PTA and Rehab Tech in group and individual treatment to ensure efficient use of resources and development of clinical skills in line with State Practice Acts, OBRA, and Reliant policy. Build a strong physical therapy program and enhance clinical, professional, and leadership skills through collaboration and continuing education. Maintain a valid state license and awareness of issues related to the profession and health care environment. Understand relevant payment models related to billing and treatment guidelines; provide quality care with reasonable goals and outcomes within guidelines. Comply with infection control procedures and environmental safety protocols within facilities. Read, write, speak, and comprehend English for instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, and reports.
