Physical Therapist

Elements Fitness & Wellness Center is dedicated to promoting the joy of movement for people of all ages and health conditions. We specialize in women’s health including pre/post natal, pelvic health and osteoporosis. Located in the Washington Metropolitan area, it is the largest and most fully equipped GYROTONIC studio with 10 Pulley Tower Units and specialized equipment such as the Jump Stretch Board, Ladder, GYROTONER, and Leg Extension Unit. Elements also serves as a GYROTONIC and GYROKINESIS educational center, offering teacher trainings and continuing education courses year-round with three on-site Master Trainer. Role Description This is a full-time or part time, on-site role for a Physical Therapist located in Washington, DC. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for providing patient care, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Daily tasks will include conducting physical therapy sessions, evaluating the progress of patients, and making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary. Qualifications Medicine and Physical Therapy skills Experience in Manual Therapy Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience in a wellness or fitness setting with Pilates, Gyrotonic exercise and/or Barbells is a plus Certified and licensed Physical Therapist with a degree in Physical Therapy Seniority level
