Vice President of Multi-Unit Restaurant Operations
— Franchise Group (Layne’s Chicken Fingers). Location: Flexible (initial focus on Dallas, TX, with national expansion). Reports To: Founder / Franchise Ownership Group. Start Date: 3 months prior to first restaurant launch. This is not a corporate position with Layne’s corporate; it is a
senior leadership role within our franchise group , reporting directly to ownership and shaping the future of our expansion. Responsibilities
P&L Leadership
– Full accountability for financial performance across all units. Operational Excellence
– Drive labor efficiency, manage food cost/COGS, optimize margins, and deliver EBITDA targets. Team Development
– Recruit, train, and lead Area Managers, General Managers, and operators while fostering a high-performance culture. Brand Consistency
– Ensure strict adherence to Layne’s quality, service, and brand standards across all locations. Systems & Processes
– Build SOPs, tools, and scalable operating frameworks to support rapid growth. Market Execution
– Partner on local store marketing strategies to drive traffic and revenue. Franchise Alignment
– Collaborate closely with Layne’s corporate team to ensure compliance and alignment with brand expectations. Qualifications & Experience
10+ years in multi-unit restaurant operations, ideally within QSR or fast casual. Proven executive-level leadership (VP/COO) in scaling restaurant brands or franchise networks. Direct oversight of P&L exceeding
$50M annually . Track record of successfully opening new markets and building operational infrastructure. Strong financial acumen with a problem-solving mindset. Experience managing vendor contracts, distribution networks, and service-level agreements. Why Join Us?
