Join to apply for the Director of Sales - Washington Hilton role at Washington Hilton. Washington Hilton is seeking a strategic leader to drive revenue growth, lead the sales team across group, transient, and catering segments, and contribute to the hotel’s commercial strategy. Responsibilities
Lead the group, transient, and catering (where applicable) sales teams and deploy business strategies that are creative, dynamic and impactful toward achieving the hotel’s annual budget and crossover targets. Oversee commercial strategies for the sales team to improve performance by aligning strategy and business processes across Rooms, Catering, and Events. Set deployment, team composition, and provide a cadence of activities using a predictive and prescriptive approach to drive performance. Facilitate delivery of the Americas Commercial Operating Model pertaining to rooms (and banquets) sales. Contribute to the hotel’s Annual Multi-Year Strategic Intentions and Commercial Strategy in partnership with hotel leadership and regional support. Direct strategy and delivery of hotel sales targets including direct selling revenue streams (group rooms, banquets, catering, business transient, and leisure transient). Align sales activities with optimal mix, contribute to revenue forecasts, and implement pricing strategies for different demand periods and market segments. Ensure profitability in line with GOP and EBITDA targets and operate within budget and forecasts. Recruitment and retention of all sales roles; lead, engage, and develop sales team members with ongoing performance development and career plans. Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback for team members and dotted-line reports across multiple sales functions (Group, Business Transient, Leisure, Catering, Contract/PERM). Foster a culture aligned with Hilton’s DEI and ESG goals. Qualifications
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred. Minimum Years of Experience: Three (3) or more years in hospitality sales & marketing leadership preferred. Minimum Years of Experience: Three (3) years cross-functional experience in hotel management or related industry preferred. Assistant or Director Level Experience Required.
