Description
The Site-Civil Engineer will work on project teams to create world class designs for new projects, alterations and redevelopments on a variety of projects including power, process, corporate, healthcare, pipeline airports, institutional, industrial, manufacturing, government and military facilities. The Staff Site-Civil Engineer will work with the project team throughout the design and construction process, adapting civil plans according to budget constraints, design factors or client needs. Responsibilities
Innovating project approach to optimize safety, schedule and profitability. Mentoring junior engineers in technical and professional development. Leading/Overseeing site grading and stormwater management designs. Leading/Overseeing the development of permitting documentation. Providing support for our clients during permitting and construction. Performing field inspections and compliance documentation. Leading a team of single- or multi-discipline professionals to ensure project success. Presenting designs and proposals to clients, permitting authorities, public interest groups, etc. Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related degree from an ABET accredited program or Bachelor of Science in Civil or related Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited program and successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering may be substituted for 1 year experience. 3 years of civil engineering experience, consulting preferred. Successful completion (i.e. passing) FE or EIT preferred. Strong knowledge in standard civil engineering techniques and procedures. Permitting experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrated critical thinking skills. Strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite). Strong computer skills (e.g. AutoCAD, MicroStation, BIM (Revit), Civil 3D, MathCAD), and/or hydraulic, hydrologic modeling, pavement, civil analysis programs. Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills. Compensation
$100,000.00-140,000.00 Yearly The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program. Benefits
