As a District Sales Manager at Subaru of America, you\'ll serve as a trusted business consultant to retailers across territory—driving sales performance, enhancing customer satisfaction, and strengthening retailer profitability. In this field-based role, you\'ll work closely with dealership leadership to optimize operations, elevate the customer experience, and champion Subaru\'s core values. Territory: San Francisco, CA area. Major Responsibilities
Maximize vehicle retail sales and achieve vehicle wholesale objectives. Support Added Security, Certified Pre-Owned Sales. Improve customer satisfaction, measured by Owner Loyalty Program (OLP) and Ascent scores. Consult with retailer on profitability. Achieve port installed accessory objectives. Develop retailer internet operations, lead processes and web optimization. Complete new retailer installations, orientation for new Sales Managers. Assist in enforcement of Retailer Agreement, Minimum Standards, and Addenda. Provide 10-day sales estimates and weekend business data. Consult on retailer lead management/processes; train sales consultants. Write high quality contact reports and Planning for Success action plans. Drive enrollments for events, training, and grassroots meetings. Collaborate with District Parts/Service Managers (DPSMs) and conduct joint retailer contacts as needed. Required Skills & Abilities
Effective interpersonal skills and strong communication. Positive, professional business acumen. Strong passion, drive, self-motivation, and competitive nature to achieve results. Capacity for leadership; ability to manage and adapt to change. Strong technology skills including Word, Excel, and Subaru applications: SBI and iEXAM. Prior retail sales experience preferred. Excellent presentation skills. Must be able to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles. Must possess a valid driver\'s license and maintain a driving record that satisfies Subaru of America\'s Driving Record Evaluation Criteria. Must be approved as an Authorized Driver by Risk Management to operate vehicles prior to vehicle operation. Education/Experience Requirements
4-Year College Degree (BA, BS) and 6-8 years\' experience. Work Environment
Lift up to 50 pounds; some evening and weekend work is required. Required travel up to 70%; some evening and weekend work is required.
