Care of Chan is seeking an experienced and visionary

Senior Designer

to lead the creative development and visual execution of our events, brand activations, and campaigns. The Senior Designer will translate ideas into compelling visuals, lead design from concept to production, and ensure creative consistency across all touch points. This is a hybrid role based in the New York metro area, with in-office requirements three days per week in Lower Manhattan and occasional onsite travel. We are a premiere event production agency focused on memorable food events and purpose-driven experiences that create meaningful connections. The Senior Designer will report to the Chief Creative Officer and collaborate with internal teams (Programming, Production, New Business) as well as external contractors and vendors to iterate concepts, prepare client presentations, and maintain consistency from pitch through install. The base salary range for this role is $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year. Base pay range

Design and source imagery for decks and case studies; craft mood boards, renders, and mockups that effectively communicate creative concepts, spatial storytelling, and guest journeys. Develop event brand identities, environmental graphics, signage, collateral, and digital assets from concept through production. Collaborate with the Chief Creative, Programming team, and New Business team to ideate for client RFPs, including setting mood boards for activations and curating photographers to hire for event coverage. Prepare, package, and adapt assets for vendors and across formats and channels as required. Partner with Production to ensure design feasibility and on-budget execution; oversee on-site installation to maintain design integrity and deliver exceptional guest experiences. Review and approve samples, mockups, renderings, and production files from vendors and contractors. Maintain and document visual standards, image libraries, and workflows that reflect the Care of Chan aesthetic; continuously improve creative team processes. Build and mentor a network of junior designers and creative collaborators; source, recruit, and manage relationships with designers, artists, illustrators, and photographers. Collaborate with producers and fabrication teams to ensure quality and consistency of visual assets, delivering cohesive, on-brand event experiences. Manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritize deliverables, and adapt to fast-paced timelines. Conduct research on materials, fabrication methods, and event technologies to drive design innovation and feasibility. Make event photography selections for use across social media, post-event recaps, marketing materials and client deliverables. Work with the social media team on creating a cohesive visual identity including designing templates and graphics for social platforms, and ideating on best visual practices for socials. Qualifications

5+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in event production, experiential marketing, or a creative agency setting Strong portfolio demonstrating concept development and execution, event design, and brand storytelling Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop); familiarity with Figma and Canva preferred; experience with SketchUp and 3D rendering tools is a plus Understanding of print production processes, digital asset creation, and file preparation for vendors Excellent visual and spatial design sensibility Experience managing junior designers and external collaborators Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills Passion for food, culture, and storytelling through design Bonus Points For
