Mgr Digital and Brand Operations (Campaign Producer) – Washington. Join Amtrak to lead end-to-end execution of integrated loyalty, partnership and marketing campaigns (primarily email) to drive brand awareness, revenue and ridership. This role sits at the intersection of brand strategy, digital marketing and project management, ensuring campaign elements are produced efficiently, launched on time with quality, and measured for optimization. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, creative and data-driven with a track record of managing complex, multi-channel campaigns from concept to completion. Responsibilities
Campaign Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with marketing leadership, brand strategists, and business units to translate objectives into a comprehensive campaign strategy and tactical plan. Support the strategic direction of Amtrak’s email program, including ad-hoc, recurring and automated/trigger campaigns; gain alignment from key stakeholders. Ensure messaging and strategy consistency across channels and adherence to brand guidelines; develop detailed campaign tasks and timelines aligned with marketing goals. Manage email program elements including customer segmentation, creative review, QA, approvals, and scheduling; optimize and evolve the email channel to stay current with trends and regulations. Define target audiences, messaging, and KPIs with internal teams and external agencies; track results and provide data-driven recommendations. Produce and present reports on email performance to stakeholders with insights for future campaigns. Production and Execution Management
Oversee production of digital and brand assets including digital ads, email campaigns, landing pages, and print collateral. Serve as primary project manager coordinating with creative teams, media agencies, analytics specialists, and cross-functional partners to ensure flawless execution. Manage campaign calendar and ensure deadlines are met; streamline production and launch processes. Campaign Operations and Optimization
Use data from sources (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CRM systems) to monitor real-time performance and identify optimization opportunities. Develop and implement A/B and multivariate testing; prepare comprehensive performance reports with recommendations. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication
Act as central point of contact for campaign inquiries; build strong relationships with internal and external partners to foster collaboration. Communicate plans, progress and results clearly to all levels of the organization. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required OR equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 7 years of relevant experience in digital marketing, email, and loyalty programs. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience implementing integrated marketing plans and outbound email programs; proficiency with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar ESP; proficiency with analytics tools (Excel, Adobe Analytics). Strong communication, project management, organizational and stakeholder-management skills; ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Proven experience managing end-to-end campaigns across multiple digital and traditional channels. Preferred Experience and Qualifications
Experience in travel, hospitality or transportation marketing to consumers. Editing, proofreading and attention to detail for testing and QA; SFMC knowledge of Content, Data, Interactions, Automation Studio, Tracking, and Reporting. Experience with segmentation and data mining for acquisition/retention/loyalty; understanding of lifecycle communications and brand-focused campaign execution. CMS proficiency and knowledge of GDPR/CCPA data compliance. Work Environment and Logistics
Professional office environment; Washington, DC based; 10% travel. Salary range is $113,200–$146,664; compensation varies by location, experience, and other factors.
