Senior Budget Analyst (Healthcare industry) Location : Washington, D.C. - hybrid position after training Assignment Type:
Contract with potential to hire Benefits : This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). The Senior Budget Analyst will prepare, review, and validate financial reports and statements, including budgets, forecasts, pricing models, and variance analyses. Conducts monthly revenue analysis and reviews actual revenue and expense balances to ensure accuracy and alignment with budget targets Performs detailed financial statement reviews and supports variance analysis for executive leadership Leads capital ROI analysis, including payback period calculations, to support strategic investment decisions Provides service line profitability and performance analysis to guide operational and strategic planning Monitors productivity metrics across fixed, variable, clinical, and non-clinical areas to support labor efficiency and resource allocation Conducts statistical analysis to identify financial and operational trends and areas for improvement Extracts financial data from systems including Lawson, Hyperion, and clinical accounting platforms to support reporting and analysis Prepares and distributes recurring management reports such as bi-weekly overtime, FTE, new hire/separation, accounts payable, and service agreement summaries Assists in the design and development of financial models and databases to support decision-making Provides training and guidance to hospital staff on budgeting tools, processes, and financial best practices Supports various budget-related special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as needed Qualifications: 5+ years financial analysis experience 2+ years within healthcare industry ROI analysis Power BI technical skills Advanced Excel Bachelor’s in Finance or Accounting Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
