Major Duties
Handles second day transaction review, decision transactions for rejection or approval.
Posts, researches, reconcile and balance general ledgers.
Responsible for identifying and resolving client matters within established guidelines.
Meeting all time sensitive and daily deadline driven tasks.
Works effectively with internal clients/partners as well as external.
Knowledgeable of the core aspects of banking and accounting/reconcilement.
Strives to become proficient in all areas of the job.
Successfully generates, creates and presents formal reports.
Proactively assess client needs with initiative and refers more multifaceted issues to subject matter experts and/or supervisor.
Knowledge
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
Basic understanding of banking procedures is preferred
Attention to detail; analytical and problem solving skills are required
Excel experience is a plus.
Experience
A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is preferred.
Salary Range $47,500 - 71,300 USD
Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
