Senior Cost Estimator

to join our growing team in

San Diego, CA . In this role, you will provide highly responsive cost consulting services in one of the firm’s core business lines. If you're an experienced cost professional looking for a hybrid office role with a company that offers growth, flexibility, and an incredible culture, we encourage you to apply now! Responsibilities include: Create estimates, studies, analyses, and evaluations, at all levels of project development. Provide conceptual-level estimates, detailed quantity take-off, change order reviews/reconciliations, and value engineering solutions as necessary. Provide a detailed review of all documentation and develop comprehensive cost estimates/models that communicate client’s project and strategic goals. Ensure a quality product is presented to the client by adhering to QA/QC procedures. Communicate effectively through clear and concise means appropriate to the project goals. Actively research, solicit, and develop sources/vendors for compiling and maintaining accuracy of cost information. Support business development efforts by developing, promoting, and maintaining client relationships through the creation of cost exhibits for proposals, meetings, presentations, etc. Requirements: A minimum of 10 years as a cost estimating professional, preferably as a consultant, to include, but not limited to conceptual estimating, take-offs, change order review/reconciliation, value engineering solutions, etc. Ability to understand and accurately interpret construction documents at all levels of design. Expert user of industry software for quantity take-off. Advanced Microsoft Excel user and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture preferred. What’s in it for you?
