As the

Principal Group Product Manager

for the OneDrive and SharePoint Platform team, you will shape the future of AI across Microsoft 365 by leading the innovation and delivery of the core OneDrive and SharePoint AI Platform. You will set the team’s vision and strategy, support Microsoft 365 AI experiences, and provide core file grounding and RAG for all Microsoft 365 products and services. You will enable and empower core AI scenarios for Copilot, Agents, Copilot Notebooks, and many marquee Microsoft applications.

You will lead the team that owns and optimizes the integration with core Microsoft products like Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, and Microsoft Copilot APIs. Working closely with customers, you will deeply understand their needs and ensure we deliver world-class grounding quality through developing and iterating on high-quality evals.

You will lead a high-performing and diverse PM organization that runs product management for one of the largest and most impactful services on the planet, which provides the essential storage and data that fuel AI and Copilot scenarios. You will foster a culture of customer obsession, innovation, and collaboration within your team and across Microsoft.

We are data-informed and hypothesis-driven and measure our outcomes to prove we deliver value to customers. We partner closely with engineers, designers, and researchers. Most of our team is local to Redmond, WA, with peers in Europe & Asia; we all contribute directly to OneDrive & SharePoint.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of Product Managers focused on the OneDrive and SharePoint AI Platform.

Manage the backlog of a large engineering organization and collaborate with designers, researchers, and data scientists.

Cultivate an inclusive culture and growth mindset, partnering with teams across Microsoft to strategize, design, and deliver holistic solutions. Maintain technical depth to balance tradeoffs and ROI across multiple solution paths; stay current with AI innovations and coach the team to build a differentiated and flexible AI platform.

Grow the OneDrive and SharePoint AI Platform to support SharePoint, OneDrive, Copilot, and other Microsoft AI applications.

Drive core AI Platform investments toward grounding and RAG capabilities.

Coach the team and raise the bar on evals to ensure high-quality AI capabilities.

Lead key partnerships with diverse organizations to deliver the best Microsoft 365 experience for customers.

Develop and mentor PMs across levels, building the next generation of leaders.

Engage with customers directly or indirectly (e.g., conferences like Ignite) and through customer calls to inform product decisions.

Collaborate with Applied Science & Research and PM peers across Microsoft to deliver end-to-end experiences.

Coordinate with engineering teams to align work across multiple services.

Qualifications Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

OR equivalent experience

6+ years of people management experience

Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), evals, and AI solutions

Experience presenting to leadership and executive audiences

Other Requirements Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements. This includes the Microsoft Cloud Background Check and other required screenings as applicable.

Compensation Software Engineering M6 – Base pay ranges: USD $163,000 - $296,400 per year in the U.S. (location-based adjustments apply). In the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metro area, base pay ranges are USD $220,800 - $331,200 per year.
