Responsibilities

Implement and lead Ford North America's Lean and Six Sigma strategy in manufacturing plants. Mentor Plant Leadership, Black Belts, and Green Belts in Lean and Six Sigma problem-solving methodologies. Instruct on Ford Production System Standards and Lean Principles to eliminate waste. Guide Black Belts and Green Belts in using Six Sigma Methodology to complete projects effectively. Teach Six Sigma Black Belt and Green Belt classes, preparing students for certification. Support problem-solving teams at Ford facilities and suppliers. Manage and mentor Continuous Improvement Specialists in executing Kaizen projects and activities. Promote continuous improvement and waste elimination via Kaizen and Six Sigma projects. Qualifications

You'll have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Six Sigma Black Belt Certification, 3+ years of experience as a Six Sigma Black Belt or Continuous Improvement Specialist in a manufacturing environment, exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities, including experience leading teams, and proven expertise in applying Lean principles, Six Sigma tools, and methodologies within a production environment. Ability to work collaboratively across all employee levels. Even better, you may have Master Black Belt Certification, Lean Certification, and formal training, strong analytical, statistical, and data management skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
