Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives to meet or exceed planned goals. Develop pre-call plans, execute post-call evaluations, handle objections, and close on sales calls to achieve action-ready outcomes. Proactively serve customer needs and challenges to build trusted relationships and achieve win-win agreements between AbbVie and customers. Develop and execute a call plan that achieves set call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers to maximize access and sales opportunities. Continuously build understanding of customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease state, product, and sales insights; share intelligence to achieve alignment and optimize brand strategy. Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with health providers and develop disease-state experts and advocates to maximize brand performance. Qualifications
Bachelors degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business-related field preferred; or relevant and equivalent industry experience In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, at least five (5) years of industry experience with three (3) or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred; high school diploma/GED required Demonstrates in-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge; strong business acumen and strategic thinking; proficient use of business tools Ability to quickly adapt selling approaches to customer style/behavior; develops effective sales strategies using insights Proven track record in sales with strong presentation skills; operates effectively in a matrix environment; provides innovative ideas to maximize opportunities Influences others and builds collaborative partnerships; leads by example and demonstrates positive behaviors in changing environments Preferred: sales success in respective therapeutic areas; pharma industry experience such as physician/account-based selling, training, managed care, or marketing; English proficiency Must satisfy HCIR credentialing requirements to gain/maintain access to facilities in the assigned territory; ensure eligibility for credentials Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment screening; ability to travel and attend training events and meetings Additional Information
