Responsibilities
Our Trust and Safety team is fast growing and responsible for building machine learning models and systems to protect our users from the impact of negative content. Our mission is to protect billions of users and publishers across the globe every day. We embrace state-of-the-art machine learning technologies and scale them to moderate the tremendous amount of data generated on the platform. With our team's continuous efforts, TikTok can provide the best user experience and bring joy to everyone in the world.
Play a leading role in reshaping moderation solutions for Trust & Safety business verticals
Work on highly-scalable classifiers, predictive models and algorithms with cutting-edge technologies
Work with engineering teams to implement model pipelines and deploy the service at scale
Collaborate with product teams to define objectives and improve trust and safety strategy
Collaborate with data analysts to understand and find data patterns
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
At least 5 years hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas: machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, NLP, audio, content understanding, or participation in large-scale online machine learning platforms
Skilled in LLM, Multimodal LLM and downstream applications
At least 3 years of people management experience
Proficient in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow, and programming languages such as Python or Java
Good programming skills in Python and similar languages, with a deep understanding of data structures and algorithms
Good communication and teamwork skills, passionate about learning new techniques and taking on challenging problems
Preferred Qualification:
Experience in trust and safety areas is a plus

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $257,400 - $744,000 annually. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is part of the Total Package and this role may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units. Benefits vary by location and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, parental leave, disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, 10 paid holidays, 10 paid sick days, and 17 days Paid Personal Time (prorated on hire).
For Los Angeles County (unincorporated) candidates: Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered under applicable laws, including the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance and the California Fair Chance Act.
