KIHOMAC
MBSE Architect with Security Clearance
KIHOMAC, Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States, 80509
Manage digital representations of complex systems using modeling languages such as SysML. Lead the adoption and implementation of MBSE practices within projects, ensuring models effectively support design, analysis, and decision-making. Work collaboratively with a multi-discipline team to decompose cybersecurity system requirements into functional and logical architecture and allocate logical architecture to physical implementation.
Create and maintain system models, ensuring they are accurate, compliant with standards, and effectively used for various engineering tasks. Capture system requirements traceability within the system architecture model, linking them to architectural and design artifacts. Apply model-based system engineering (MBSE) methodology to develop system architectural views using Systems Modeling Language (SysML).
Utilize the system architecture model in support of systems engineering milestone reviews such as SRR, SDR, PDR, CDR, etc. Use state machine modeling and analysis to demonstrate dynamic system behavior, accurate state transitions, and impact of design decisions. Integrate MBSE with other digital engineering activities, such as configuration management and simulation.
Review and translate Customer reference architecture model to internal architecture model. Provide input to continuously improve MBSE training, processes, and tools. Mentor systems engineers in MBSE processes and tools. Foster strong customer relationships.
