Expert Software Engineer - Remote

Veradigm Veradigm is hiring an experienced Expert Software Engineer to be part of the Veradigm Compliance Reporting Solutions team (VCRS). The team focuses on creating data-driven warehousing and reporting solutions. VCRS collects and aggregates data from EHRs to generate reports for compliance and certifications. You will solve complex technical problems to deliver reliable, secure, and vital clinical data to our customers. Responsibilities
Architect and lead development of technical solutions that are secure, robust, performant, and scalable. Employ technical and thought leadership to drive products from inception to release. Work with stakeholders to ensure the solution meets business needs. Write correct, well-factored code that is testable, maintainable and demonstrates best practices. Balance cost of development, testing, deployment and operations to deliver optimum value for the business and customers. Own application components from inception, through design and development, to deployment and operations. Architect complex application workflows across multiple services, messaging platforms and data stores. Develop and test RESTful ASP.NET Core Web APIs deployed in Azure Kubernetes Service that provide business logic, access various data storage technologies (SQL and NoSQL), and interact through asynchronous messaging and HTTP. Write unit tests and functional tests that cover all code. Author SQL Server database schemas and stored procedures. Write stories to define, estimate and track the team’s work. Measure, find and fix performance and security issues. Advocate for appropriate tools and best practices; review code and provide feedback to improve quality. Demonstrate and evangelize best practices for coding and team processes. Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field 7+ years of experience with: C# ASP.NET Core Web API Relational database development Distributed version control Continuous integration Enterprise architecture patterns (caching, type-ahead, retry policies, queuing, etc.) Leading agile teams, delivering secure, scalable solutions 3+ years of cloud development experience (Azure, AWS, etc.) Equal Opportunity and Additional Information
