Duties Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Develop new and customize existing systems and applications using PL/SQL, SQL, Java, JavaScript, Angular, and/or HTML/CSS in Agile development practices.
Provide comprehensive development support including troubleshooting, maintenance, and feature development; stay current with emerging technologies and best practices.
Execute full software development lifecycle activities (design, testing, implementation, upgrades) with robust technical documentation.
Collaborate with software vendors to enhance system capabilities and resolve technical challenges affecting service delivery.
Document defects and feature enhancements.
Gather reporting requirements, perform data analysis, and create reports using Crystal Reports and Power BI.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with vendors and City staff to ensure reliable service delivery and continuous improvement of digital infrastructure.
Provide end-user training, support, and update end-user documentation.

Salary Information:
The final candidate’s qualifications determine the salary. An approximate 5% ongoing non-pensionable compensation pay applies.
SAP I: $88,932.48 – $108,086.16 annually
SAP II: $98,629.44 - $119,945.28 annually
The SAP I/II classification is represented by MEF.
Minimum Qualifications Education & Experience:
SAP I: A Baccalaureate Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or related field, AND 1 year of computer systems applications programming experience.
SAP II: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to advanced undergraduate coursework in computer science, business administration or related field and two (2) years of computer systems applications programming experience.
Substitutions:
SAP I: Additional related work experience may substitute for up to 2 years of educational requirement; 1 year work experience is mandatory.
