Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Outbound Product Management overseeing Atlassian’s Cloud Platform Transformation, the
Principal Product Manager, Outbound Product Management
works with GTM and R&D to improve the "Fit" and "Adoption" of products for strategic customers.
Capture and codify field feedback to influence product roadmaps and GTM strategy across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
Engage as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strategic customers during pre-sales, contribute to escalations, and drive post-sales conversations to enable adoption at scale.
Prioritize customer needs with product and solution teams and build scaled customer learning loops.
Influence Marketing strategy by ensuring effective positioning and messaging of the Atlassian Cloud Platform.
Primary Responsibilities
Be a strategic partner for our largest customers
Engage CIO/Sr Director buyer personas throughout the sales cycle to instill confidence in our products
Partner with Sales and Customer Success for adoption remediation and growth conversations
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Engineering
Influence the market
Lead partnership between Product and Marketing to shape product narrative and roadmaps
Collaborate with analysts to shape perception of our product
Participate in market events to drive product awareness
Influence Atlassian
Define and deliver portions of the customer roadmap for large customers
Represent Voice of the Customer to product teams
Build scaled customer feedback loops across Atlassian product teams

Qualifications General Qualifications
5+ years in B2B SaaS with focus on Enterprise and/or on-premise to cloud migrations
5+ years in product management with hands-on adoption experience
Background in customer-facing situations, able to land deals and improve processes
Systems thinking and creative problem solving for feature delivery
Experience building systems to capture and prioritize customer feedback at scale
Track record of influencing product strategy without direct authority
Executive presence and ability to influence C-level customers
Experience in Atlassian’s primary markets (Collaboration & Work Management) and awareness of competitive landscape
Ability to align many teams to achieve OKRs across Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing, Sales and Strategy
Empathy-driven leadership to coach PMs on customer engagement
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Experience in US Public Sector and in securing compliance accreditations (e.g., FedRAMP, IL5, Top Secret, etc.)
Compensation Base pay ranges vary by geographic zone. Zone A: $193,500 - $252,625; Zone B: $174,600 - $227,950; Zone C: $161,100 - $210,325. This role may be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity. Location-specific details and zone confirmation should be discussed with a recruiter.
