Based on NIH scale $62.232 - $75,564 Rush salaries are determined by many factors including, but not limited to, education, job-related experience and skills, as well as internal equity and industry specific market data. The pay range for each role reflects Rush’s anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position. Offers may vary depending on the circumstances of each case. Summary
This position may perform independent research, collaborate on a multi-scholar research initiative, or may have lead responsibility for discrete components of a larger research projects or programs, all while under the general direction of a senior or principal researcher. Required Job Qualifications
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a relevant discipline. Experience in relevant science discipline. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Scientific writing skills demonstrated through peer-reviewed publications Ability to acquire accurate, reproducible data Critical eye towards consistency, reproducibility, and the scientific method in general Excellent project and time management skills Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills Advocate for safety and ethics in the workplace Disclaimer:

Plan, design and execute complex research studies, procedures, and protocols. Participate in discovery projects. Coordinate research study activities: lead and manage projects. Problem solves research challenges and model development, as applicable. Contribute discrete components of a larger project under the general direction of a senior or principal researcher. Prepare complete documentation of research activities for reference purposes, including following applicable data management protocols. Oversee organization, synthesis and analysis of data and findings. Compare actual and expected results and suggest solutions to correct the deviations. Evaluate existing research or modeling techniques and recommend improvements to ensure quality and productivity. Prepare scientific reports, outcome findings and scientific manuscripts. Assist in the preparation of proposals and reports. Assist in teaching classes. Perform other duties as assigned Rush is an equal opportunity employer.
