Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore provided pay range. Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $19.00/hr. However, your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Position Summary

The Arts, Culture & Expression Specialist supports the Manager of Arts, Culture & Expression in delivering creative, cultural, and artistic programming for Boys & Girls Club members. This part-time position focuses on fostering safe and inclusive spaces where youth can explore identity, culture, and creativity through artistic expression. The Specialist works directly with youth in program spaces, helps lead daily activities, and ensures that arts and cultural programs reflect the mission and values of the Club. Responsibilities

Lead and assist with arts, culture, and creative expression activities (visual arts, performing arts, music, writing, etc.). Create an inclusive and affirming environment where all youth feel safe to express themselves. Encourage youth to explore their creativity, identity, and cultural voice through projects. Adapt activities for different age groups and developmental levels. Work closely with the Arts, Culture & Expression Manager to implement program plans, activities, and schedules. Help support safe behavior during creative activities, projects, and programs. Provide feedback to the Manager about youth engagement and program impact. Help set up, organize, and maintain art supplies, cultural materials, and program spaces. Ensure safety in shared creative environments and throughout the building. Assist with tracking attendance and participation data as directed. Collaborate with other Club staff to integrate arts and culture across program areas. Build supportive relationships with youth, staff, and families. Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework in arts, cultural studies, education, or related fields is a plus. Experience leading or supporting arts and creative activities with youth. Strong communication and youth engagement skills. Ability to encourage creativity and provide positive, affirming feedback. Miscellaneous

This is a part-time, hourly position. Must pass a background and reference check in accordance with youth safety standards. Some evening or weekend hours may be required for special events. Physical Requirements / Work Environment
