The role includes checking in patients, collecting accurate patient demographics, entering data into electronic systems, and verifying insurance. Additionally, it involves coordinating the daily operations of the physician office, including the medical records process, controlling the front desk, accounts payable, and office supplies. Monitoring and auditing cash/payment funds and daily reconciliation of charges and payments are also part of the responsibilities. Requirements: Education:
Required: High school diploma/GED. Preferred: Completion of a medical office assistant program. Experience:
Required: Must have 5 years of experience working in a medical office setting. Certifications:
