Structural Engineering Co-op

to be based in

Boston, MA . This Co-op position is to work under the direction of project engineers and team members to assist in the design, analysis, or inspection of bridge and tunnel projects. Work could include producing design calculations, plans, estimates, specifications, performing inspections, or writing technical reports, under the direction of senior staff. Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to : Assist with report writing and setup. Development of field forms. Assist with data entry, editing and creation of drawings and table/charts. Development of plans and details utilizing CAD. Development of engineering calculations utilizing examples and guidance of senior engineers. Support senior and junior engineers with engineering related tasks. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Must have completed one year of study. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Excel and MS Word. Experience with CAD programs such as AutoCAD is a plus. Experience with MathCAD is a plus. Experience with modelling software is a plus Additional Information Sponsorship is not available for this position. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $22 to $25.
