To be considered for this role you must live in the NE region.
As a Regional Client Manager on the Employee Benefits team, you will provide exceptional support and customer service to your assigned caseload (Employer Groups of 100 to 499 lives), through daily guidance and education. In this role, you will:
Manage new case, renewal activity, and amendments
Identify and promote the sale of additional lines of coverage or plan improvements. Promote new product offerings and enhanced product features
Recommend plan changes as appropriate
Facilitate the enrollment and re-enrollment process; conducting enrollment meetings or being present as benefit fairs, as needed
Highlight the advantages of doing business with The Standard in coordination with the assigned Sales Representative.
In addition to servicing accounts, your ability to cultivate meaningful, effective relationships will be vital as you collaborate with internal and external customers (Sales Representatives, Brokers, Producers, Employer Groups, Policyholders, and vendors) to provide the best possible outcome for all parties involved. The Client Manager will demonstrate core company values and brand in all interactions: timely communication, problem resolution, professional negotiation, etc.

The Skills & Background You’ll Need
Proven ability to cultivate meaningful, effective business relationships Exceptional customer service skills. Willingness to go above and beyond and exceed customer expectations Problem solving, decision making, and analytical thinking consistent with company objectives Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience with underwriting guidelines is preferred Experience and knowledge with Group Employee Benefits Products is preferred Experience using Salesforce CRM is preferred High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred Life and Disability insurance license for all states within office’s assigned territory will be required. License can/must be obtained within 6 months of hire date and renewed by meeting all continuing education requirements and renewal requirements Traits of a Successful Candidate
