Editorial Manager – Copywriter
We are currently seeking candidates for an Editorial Manager – Copywriter opportunity with a highly successful Investment Management firm located in Boston, MA. The Editorial Manager – Copywriter will translate complex investment topics into engaging, audience-friendly content that highlights the firm’s investment expertise, thought leadership, and strategic positioning across asset classes.
The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of copywriting experience, including strong financial services industry experience. This is a 3+ month contract-to-hire opportunity paying between $45-$55/hour (depending on experience). This role supports a hybrid work-model, consisting of 3 onsite days and 2 remote days per week.
Responsibilities:
Transforms complex investment topics into clear, engaging, and audience-friendly messaging. Ensures alignment with brand standards. Writes, edits, and proofreads a wide range of content, including product marketing materials, white papers, flyers, brochures, corporate collateral, retail investment insights, and marketplace insights. Writes original content and re-purposes existing content for promotion across digital platforms, including web-based and social media platforms. Collaborates with internal teams and provides support in copyediting, proofreading, and project management, while ensuring the integrity of organization’s voice and editorial style. Partners with internal teams to ensure the timely production of marketing collateral to promote and position firm-wide enterprise themes internally and externally. Maintains strong understanding of capital markets, investment strategies, and asset classes (including fixed income and equities), and stays up-to-date on industry trends. Provides additional support as needed. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communication, Finance, Marketing, or related field (required). 6-8+ years of copywriting or financial writing experience in investment management, financial services, or agency setting with financial services clients. Strong knowledge of capital markets, investment strategies, and asset classes (including fixed income and equity). Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Ability to work collaboratively and independently. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Great time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
