The Vision Products Group (VPG) is looking for a software engineering project manager (EPM) to help build the next generation of augmented reality (AR) interactive solutions for Apple platforms. In this role, you will drive cross-functional programs and feature areas in spatial computing, augmented reality and 3D rendering for visionOS and other Apple platforms. You will partner with engineering management to lead projects through the software development lifecycle from concept to delivery. You should bring solid experience in system software and project management, strong communication and leadership skills, and a track record of delivering multiple complex projects simultaneously. You should demonstrate high integrity, high energy and comfort in a dynamic, constantly changing environment. As an experienced project leader for complex and sometimes highly ambiguous technical projects, you will build strong collaborative relationships within the organization and across functions, and you will confidently and calmly manage conflicts and challenges along the way. You will be responsible for successful outcomes and delivery, driving projects with attention to detail and clear communication on status and risks. Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of related experience with a BS/MS, Computer Science / Engineering or relevant industry experience Experience in software program or project management Familiarity or prior experience in any of the following areas: augmented and virtual reality, computer vision, machine learning and artificial intelligence, 3D rendering engines Experience and consistent track record leading and shipping multiple complex projects simultaneously Experience driving and delivering critical project features which involve integration with multiple different teams Solid knowledge of software development practices Ability to create and execute plans in ambiguous settings, identifying priorities and driving what matters Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal Excellent collaboration skills, working together with different teams and fostering trust Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in hands-on software development is desired Curiosity and passion for new technologies and proven ability to quickly understand technical concepts Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
