Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Enrollment Management: Develop and implement financial aid strategies that support recruitment, retention, and financial sustainability goals. Compliance & Policy Oversight: Ensure compliance with federal, state, institutional, and NCAA regulations. Operations and System Management: Oversee daily operations of financial aid programs, including loans, grants, scholarships, and work-study. Budget and Resource Management: Develop, justify, and manage departmental operating budgets and financial aid fund allocations. Staff Leadership & Development: Supervise and evaluate professional staff, graduate assistants, and student employees. Student, Family & Community Engagement: Advise and counsel students and families on financial aid eligibility, appeals, and compliance requirements. Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Five to seven years of progressively responsible financial aid experience. Demonstrated knowledge of Federal, State, and institutional financial aid regulations and practices. Experience with financial aid/student information systems (e.g., Banner, PeopleSoft, Workday, or similar). Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs, or related field. Experience with Banner, PeopleSoft, or similar SIS. Demonstrated experience in budget development and enrollment strategy. NASFAA certification (FAAC preferred). What’s In It For You
