Overview
Associate, Quantitative & Data Analytics at Allstate. This two-year development program in Allstate Investments is designed to cultivate future leaders in asset management. The role rotates between the Quantitative Research and Analytics teams within Risk and Return, embedding quantitative and data-driven tools and insights into Allstate’s platforms to support asset allocation and both public and private market investing. The program aims to develop skills in quantitative research, data sourcing and analysis, modeling, data infrastructure, risk analysis and performance attribution, using traditional statistics, data science, machine learning and generative AI to drive quantitative investment decisions. Key Responsibilities
Quantitative Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial and risk modeling, alpha signal research, and algorithm development to support trading strategies and investment decisions. Back testing and performance tracking of quantitatively oriented investment strategies; portfolio optimization for asset classes including fixed income, public equity and private assets Modeling assets within risk management systems and assisting portfolio managers to analyze risk across portfolios Maintain and enhance credit and equity quant models, optimizers and Quantamental tools Collaborate with IT/Infrastructure to build and implement quantitative investment systems and processes Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to uncover trends and insights; apply machine learning and statistical techniques to improve data-driven strategies Define data and analytics requirements with stakeholders to support Risk/Return objectives Assist in building performance attribution and risk reporting frameworks Apply analytical and quantitative approaches to process data; identify data issues within investment tools Interface with data owners to ensure consistency across platforms; validate calculation logic and quality of vendor analytics Evaluate data quality and gaps in new data sources; assess opportunities to enhance disparate data Identify relevant data needed to support Analytics Data Warehouse development Education And Experience
Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or related fields (expected Spring 2026). Functional Skills
Demonstrated analytical and programming skills with familiarity in SQL, Python, and statistical tools Self-motivated, intellectually curious, with a strong interest in investment management and continuous learning Ability to work independently on defined tasks while leveraging team support Ability to derive meaningful insights from data and communicate findings clearly to investment professionals Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $98,000.00 - 134,750.00 annually, based on experience and qualifications The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
