Founding ASIC/Chip Design Engineer (Front-End)

We are seeking an Engineer with 1–5 years of experience in front-end VLSI/chip design or software development for chip design. Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience with ASIC design using SystemVerilog and industry-standard synthesis and verification tools, as well as a track record of contributing to open-source EDA or chip efforts, internships or full-time work in chip design, and at least one tapeout—preferably on advanced technology nodes. Responsibilities

Design and develop chip architectures and software tools for leading industry customers. Utilize front-end EDA tools for RTL coding, simulation, synthesis, and verification. Write and ship high-quality code in Python and C++. Make key software and product architectural decisions. Translate user and customer feedback into product updates and features. Collaborate with founders on product roadmap and strategy. Qualifications

Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science (hardware focus). Experience at a leading tech company or startup. Strong programming skills in Python and C++. Basic understanding of statistics and AI/ML methods. Experience designing and verifying ASICs using SystemVerilog. Comfortable with common front-end EDA tools. Demonstrated tapeout experience on advanced nodes. Passionate about chips and applying AI to advance EDA. Seniority level
