Insight Global is sourcing for a Data Analyst to join a global consulting firm assisting in building a centralized Data Lake that will simplify and automate information delivery. This position will be supporting the Data portfolio with focus on the Global Worker and HR squads. This is a mid-level role, requiring experience working with functional spec document creation, data dictionaries, and direct stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting HR systems, specifically Workday with preference to a background supporting Workday implementations. The Data Analyst will be functional and technical, requiring ability to structure hypothesis, build thoughtful analyses, create functional mapping specs and bring clarity to previously undefined problems. This position will be a 1-year contract with opportunity for extension, fully remote in India. Pay-rate: $10-15/hour USD. Exact pay rate will depend on experience and other factors. Responsibilities

Support the Data portfolio with focus on the Global Worker and HR squads. Assist in building a centralized Data Lake to simplify and automate information delivery. Participate in functional specification document creation, maintain data dictionaries, and engage directly with stakeholders. Structure hypotheses, develop analyses, create functional mapping specifications, and bring clarity to previously undefined problems. Collaborate on HR systems tasks, with a preference for Workday-related work and Workday data understanding. Operate in a 1-year contract role with potential extension; fully remote in India. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, or HR. MBA preferred, but not required. 5+ years of HR domain and relevant experience; prior experience supporting people/HR data. Strong experience with HR systems, specifically Workday; understanding of HR Workday data. Experience supporting Workday implementations and working in tandem with the HR organization. Technical experience with SQL, including writing SQL queries and performing data validations in SQL. Sound analytical and reporting skills with excellent communication. Experience working with data dictionaries and collaborating with Data Owners/Stewards on a Day-to-day basis; prior experience on Snowflake DB a plus.
