The Creator Marketing Director, Streaming will devise and execute large-scale creator marketing campaigns via GoodPower’s Creator Collective. A key focus is conceiving and implementing timely and innovative creator marketing campaigns on streaming platforms (e.g., Twitch) and podcasts, testing new “always on” strategies informed by research and data. This role will lead the refinement and innovation of internal and external processes that fuel our creator marketing campaigns to achieve scale, improve productivity, and increase efficacy. This is a full-time, remote position based in the US. The role will involve weekly video meetings with teams and weekly national staff meetings. Key Responsibilities
Drive creation and execution of innovative streaming and long-form creator partnerships on relevant platforms that support GoodPower’s mission and goals. Explore, develop, and test new campaign ideas, frameworks, and platforms (e.g., Twitch, podcasting) to reach new audiences. Build a program of subject matter experts and place them on podcasts and streaming platforms to discuss GoodPower topics. Implement scalable processes for experimenting with content formats, platform activations, and compensation structures. Identify and leverage emerging trends in creator marketing to increase relevance and impact. Optimize creator sourcing and outreach strategies to identify and recruit creators. Manage a large number of creators throughout content creation and ensure on-time delivery. Establish best practices for onboarding, activating, and nurturing long-term creator relationships. Develop brand/channel guidelines for different audiences and platforms. Foster a community of large creators and build relationships with their managers/agencies to expand the roster. Coordinate with the ads team to boost and repurpose creator content for digital ads. Negotiate usage rights for creator-produced content used in ads. Manage creator marketing and communications vendors when applicable. Collaborate with research teams on RCTs related to the Creator Collective program. Ensure influencer campaigns comply with platform, federal, state, and local policies. Lead brainstorming sessions to generate high-impact ideas; participate in funder pitches and campaign meetings. Collaborate with internal teams to integrate creator partnerships into broader organizational goals. Manage SMS opt-in pathways, keywords, and tracking links to measure campaign success. Use analytics and Looker dashboards for reporting on creator innovations. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be excited by the challenge, self-motivated with initiative and persistence, and possess the following experiences and skills. Minimum Qualifications
Proven leadership in creator/influencer marketing with 8+ years of direct campaign and creator management experience. Strong familiarity with streaming, podcasts, and Twitch parasocial landscapes; experience booking appearances on podcasts/streams. Creative, out-of-the-box thinker with ability to generate scroll-stopping ideas. Strategically-minded with tactics that drive clicks and actions. Mastery of core social platforms (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram) and emerging channels (podcasts, streaming, Twitch). Strong copywriting skills and ability to convey GoodPower’s messaging across channels. Experience managing digital campaigns with fluency in digital tools and adaptability to new tech. Attention to detail and ability to review content for quality and appropriateness. Ability to assess content for sponsor suitability and factual accuracy; ensure political appropriateness where applicable. Thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment with rapid experimentation and data-driven growth. Desired Qualifications
Experience with influencer/creator management software (e.g., HypeAuditor, Upfluence, CreatorIQ). Advertising or marketing background; strong knowledge of social platforms and creator communities. Existing expertise or willingness to master trends in clean energy/renewables, policy, climate, and culture. Current understanding of energy issues and climate topics. Excellent spoken and written English communication skills. Strong computer skills (Google Suite). Position Details
Annual salary range: $100,000–$109,000, commensurate with experience.
