What You Will Do

Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic using .NET (C#) and React with Vite.

Apply experience as a Solutions Architect or Systems Architect, or in a similar role.

Work with Microsoft Azure PaaS services (App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, etc.).

Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices for front-end integration.

Work with relational and NoSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.

Implement secure authentication and authorization (e.g., OAuth).

Develop responsive UIs with React.js and libraries (Redux, React Router).

Ensure cross-browser compatibility and front-end performance optimization.

Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes into functional components.

Demonstrate strong database experience (e.g., Data Bricks, Cosmos DB, MongoDB, Snowflake).

Design and implement data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, and similar tools.

Integrate front-end and back-end components to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Troubleshoot and debug across the stack to ensure reliability and performance.

Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following best practices.

Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers.

Contribute to code reviews and promote knowledge sharing within the team.

Optimize applications for scalability, performance, and security.

Evaluate and adopt new tools, frameworks, and methodologies.

What You Should Have

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

8+ years of professional full-stack development with C# and .NET, and Azure platform experience.

3 to 5 years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Systems Architect, or similar role.

Strong proficiency in React.js and JavaScript/TypeScript for modern web apps.

Experience with ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, and RESTful API development.

Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and efficient SQL querying.

Familiarity with front-end tools/frameworks (Webpack, npm/yarn, CSS preprocessors).

Knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; excellent communication and teamwork.

Nice To Have

Experience with Azure Service Fabric or similar microservices platforms.

Exposure to CI/CD and cloud-based deployment strategies.

Understanding of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Location and Compensation Location: Chicago, IL (onsite or hybrid as applicable). Base compensation is typically in the range of $150,000 to $180,000 per year, with discretionary annual bonus and other compensation as applicable. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, paid holidays and PTO, and other terms per governing plans.
