Principal / Senior Principal IFC Test Plan Support Systems Engineer. What You’ll Get To Do Creates comprehensive test strategies and detailed test plans, outlining the overall approach to testing, including objectives, scope, test levels, and resource allocation. Develop testing strategy specifically to test Initial Functional Capability configurations of the System. Aligns strategy with overall Program Test Plan strategy. Partner with System and Sub-System Integration Lab leaders to identify and support early integration activities to reduce eventual test event risk for a large and complex system that incorporates mature and emerging technologies across multiple segments. This position will serve on-site in the Redondo Beach, CA or the Greater Baltimore, MD area This requisition may be filled as a Principal IFC Test Plan Support Systems Engineer or Senior Principal IFC Test Plan Support Systems Engineer. This position is contingent upon acquiring and maintaining the necessary US Government security clearance per customers’ requirements. Basic Qualifications for Principal IFC Test Plan Support Systems Engineer:
Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university with at least 5 years of experience; 3 years with Master's Degree; OR 1 years with a PhD Demonstrated experience with Systems Development Lifecycle and successful execution of major engineering reviews and events Demonstrated experience in systems development, integration, and test Demonstrated Requirements Management with a focus on Verification Demonstrated experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (SysML/MBSE) Risk and Opportunity Management experience Understanding of DoD systems engineering requirements (e.g., UAF, DoDAF) Multi-Disciplinary Engineering exposure (Software, Hardware, Electrical) and strong ability to communicate cross functionally This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen Current Active DoD Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI and a Polygraph prior to start.
