This Opportunity: WSP’s Advisory and Planning business line seeks a Director, Digital Infrastructure & Mobility Innovation to lead our strategy, client delivery, and industry engagement in the digital transportation landscape. The candidate should have proven leadership in connected vehicle systems, intelligent transportation, and digital infrastructure innovation to help agencies and industry partners prepare for a future shaped by connectivity, automation, and emerging mobility solutions. Your Impact
Define and execute WSP’s vision for digital infrastructure transformation across transportation systems. Serve as a trusted advisor to federal, state, and industry clients on connected and automated systems, safety, and mobility solutions. Represent WSP in national and international forums, shaping standards, policies, and industry guidance. Build partnerships across government, telecom, automotive, and infrastructure owner/operators to plan and accelerate deployment. Contribute to business development through industry leadership, client engagement, and ecosystem building. Mentor and inspire staff, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence. Required Qualifications
15+ years of leadership in transportation technology, digital infrastructure, and intelligent systems. Recognized industry leaders with committee leadership in national organizations preferred. Proven track record of client engagement at federal, state, national or international levels. Extensive experience in standards development, policy shaping, and deployment strategies. Strong communication, facilitation, and executive advisory skills. Preferred Qualifications
Record of innovation and peer-reviewed publications in transportation and communications. Experience in consulting industry. Familiarity with AI/ML applications, edge computing, and digital communications architectures. Recognized honors at the national level. Compensation and Benefits
Compensation:
Expected Salary (all locations):
$147,500 - $272,580. Colorado: $147,500 - $255,860. WSP provides a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, retirement savings, paid time off, parental leave, and paid time off for bereavement, voting, and naturalization proceedings. About WSP
