Associate Director of Housing Stability Programs
Provide oversight and leadership for the Housing Stability Program, which delivers mental health services to Renaissance Social Services participants, addressing psychosocial, health, financial, recreational, nutritional, and housing needs. Assume a leadership role for the Community Support Services Program, serving formerly homeless individuals in scattered-site housing. Lead and oversee team staff providing outreach, case management, social, vocational, educational, physical well-being, and residential services, along with other supports. Conduct weekly team meetings, model professional behaviors, and ensure staff receive coaching, supervision, and training. Participate in the hiring process, including interviewing, making recommendations, and onboarding new staff; provide supervision for students and interns. Position Responsibilities
Provide oversight and leadership for the Housing Stability Program. Assume a leadership role for the Community Support Services Program. Lead and oversee team staff providing outreach, case management, and other services. Conduct weekly team meetings and ensure staff receive coaching and training. Participate in the hiring process and provide supervision for students and interns. Clinical & Evidence-Based Practices
Implement and model evidence-based practices for the team. Ensure that at least 60% of services are delivered in participants’ natural settings. Conduct assessments of participant functioning, with emphasis on physical health, mental illness, and substance use. Identify participant needs and barriers, assist with problem-solving, and provide service planning, coordination, and implementation. Deliver crisis intervention services when needed and ensure compliance with state-mandated reporting of abuse or neglect. Participant Support & Advocacy
Gather participant information, assess service needs, recommend treatment, and connect participants with natural resources and supports. Provide information, linkage, referral, and advocacy with community agencies. Support participants in increasing skills and income, improving self-determination, and maintaining housing stability. Work with participants and families to strengthen relationships and promote overall well-being. Compliance, Documentation & Quality Assurance
Meet required productivity targets and monitor staff performance against productivity measures. Complete and ensure timely, accurate, and organized documentation in compliance with Medicaid standards, Rule 132 regulations, and agency protocols. Conduct monthly random file audits and participate in quarterly case reviews. Maintain accurate client information, including updated addresses and phone numbers. Team & Organizational Contribution
Assist with special projects or tasks as assigned. Establish and maintain effective working relationships across participants, families, staff, and community partners. Work independently and collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience (required) Master’s degree in social work or a related field (preferred) Valid Illinois license (LCSW or LCPC preferred) or eligibility for licensure
