Technology Lead - Big Data/Hadoop/ Spark (Multiple Locations)
We are seeking a Technology Lead with expertise in Big Data, Hadoop, and Spark. The role is full-time and permanent, with locations available in Torrance, CA, San Jose, CA, and Sunnyvale, CA. Qualifications: Basic:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Alternatively, we will consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
Preferred:
Strong development experience in Big Data, NoSQL Databases. Strong development experience in Storm, Spark, HDFS, Hive, and Big Data related components. Deep understanding of Java, Linux/Unix. Analysis and understanding of upstream and downstream data needs for analytics. Ability to work and liaise with teams across business units. Good experience using SQL queries and other tools to perform data analysis. Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with different teams. Experience reviewing code developed and suggesting issues related to customer data. Cloud exposure, preferably with Azure data.
